Saint Mary of the Assumption

“Saint Mary of the Assumption” is a 5ft tall Georgia Marble sculpture portraying the Mother of Jesus being ‘assumed’ into heaven. Mullins was commissioned by Church Leaders and Parishioners to create a replacement of the 1918 Carrara Marble original that was damaged by time and weather. Placed in the Sacred granite “entablature”, she was unveiled and blessed by Father Franks on August 15th, 2012.
